    Wave Box invites you to explore and play with the audio that lives in the air all around us. We are surrounded by electronic noise all the time outside of the audible frequency range in the form of electromagnetic fields, electrostatic, atmospheric noise, and thermal radiation. Wave Box hones in on the most familiar of these artifacts, FM radio waves.

  • MIDI Theremin

    Nearly 100 years after it was invented, the theremin remains one of the most alluring and mysterious electronic instruments. My adaptation of the theremin keeps one conductive sensor, while adding a score of other tools to manipulate sound in new ways.

  • Micro Radio Workshop

    This series of workshop, co-produced with Hannah Tardie, aims to demystify FM Radio Transmission to help attendees create their own communication networks. Taking inspiration from Tetsuo Kogawa and the 90’s Micro Radio movement, we offer a political framework for FM networks as resistance to corporate media and big tech. All attendees leave with a working FM transmitter.
